The Friends of Frontenac Privacy Policy

The Friends of Frontenac Park is a private, non-commercial, non-profit organization.

The purpose of the organization is:

To develop and promote programmes and materials which will enhance the public’s awareness, education and appreciation of the natural environment and human history of Frontenac Park
To work co-operatively with the Ministry of Natural Resources in the development and implementation of policies which support the special natural qualities of Frontenac Park
To undertake activities appropriate to protect and enhance the natural qualities of Frontenac Park.

The privacy of our members is important to us. The Friends Membership Secretary maintains a membership list containing personal information required to communicate with our membership and our volunteers.

Personal information includes name, address, phone number, e-mail address and interest in activities as indicated. This list is available only to the membership secretary, the Park staff and volunteers responsible for agreed activities of the organization. The membership list is not sold or exchanged and is only available to individual members of the executive for specific purposes of The Friends of Frontenac Park. All blanket email communications to members are done by blind copy.

The Friends website provides information on the organizations activities. It is freely available and contains no personal information. There are external links on the website which are maintained solely for the convenience of users. The operation and content of such third party websites is beyond the control of The Friends of Frontenac Park. The Friends of Frontenac Park do not endorse in any manner whatsoever or accept any responsibility for content or other material that may be contained on such websites, the use of such websites, or the products or services advertised on or sold through any such websites.
